Let’s meet over a cup of coffee!
We do this all the time, whether it is a business meeting or to catch up with a friend. Everything is better with a cup of coffee, right?
Meet Maranatha is a relaxed, yet informative, event that gives prospective families an opportunity to meet current families after Breakfast With Brian (a monthly event hosted by the Head of School for our families), have a cup of coffee with the Head of School, and go on a tour during school hours with our principals.
Our next Meet Maranatha will take place Wednesday, February at 9:30 a.m. To attend, simply enter the Maranatha Christian Academy secure doors, check in, and you will be guided to The Coffee House located in the Living Word Christian Center lobby. We would love to meet you over a cup of coffee!
One of the core values at Maranatha Christian Academy is to partner with parents. One of the key ways in which we do so is during Parent-Teacher Conferences. Please mark your calendar for Thursday, March 1 and Friday, March 2.
Pre-kindergarten and Lower School Conferences (PK-Grade 5)
A conference schedule will be emailed out to parents between February 19 and 23. Conference times will be as follows:
Thursday, March 1: 2-8:15 p.m.
Friday, March 2: 9 a.m.-3:20 p.m.
Your cooperation in being punctual to your conference time and not bringing your children is greatly appreciated; however, we realize sometimes this may be unavoidable. If you cannot attend your scheduled conference (which you will receive in your email as mentioned above) on the list, please call Mrs. Olsen as soon as possible at 763-488-7914.
Upper School Conferences (Grades 6-12)
Upper school conferences are held in the gymnasium. The conference times are as follows:
Thursday, March 1: 2-8:30 p.m.
Friday, March 2: 12-6 p.m.
Parents will rotate from teacher to teacher and visit with them as they become available. We ask that you keep your time with each teacher to a maximum of ten minutes. to ensure you are able to conference with all of your student’s teachers, please arrive at least one hour prior to the conclusion of conferences.
We look forward to seeing you!
Starting your child in the right school is important to their intellectual, spiritual, and physical growth. Maranatha Christian Academy’s vertically aligned curriculum prepares students for success as they navigate through to graduation.
On Thursday, March 8, the Academy will host its Kindergarten Preview starting at 8:30 a.m. This event is designed to give parents and students (yes, please bring your child) a look into the fully accredited kindergarten program at MCA. You will see our caring teachers in action and get an idea of how they incorporate their Christian worldview into all that they teach. In addition, you will experience first-hand a taste of the classroom experience.
The event runs from 8:30-9:45 a.m. We ask that you try to arrive a little early to give yourself enough time to register before we begin.
Interested in enrolling your child in a fully licensed and accredited pre-kindergarten program?
Would you like your child to be surrounded by caring teachers that teach from a Christian worldview?
If these important factors are integral in your decision of where to send your child for pre-kindergarten, then Maranatha Christian Academy invites you to attend our Pre-k Preview on Wednesday, March 14 from 8:30-10 a.m. to learn more about the Academy.
The Preview is designed for both child and parent, so feel free to bring your soon-to-be Mustang to this fun and informative event. Please arrive early enough to register.
