You are invited to join us as we celebrate the induction of new students into the National Honor Society (NHS) on Monday, November 12 at 7 p.m. in the Chapel.
The NHS is the nation’s premiere organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. Much more than honor roll, NHS serves to recognize students in Grades 10-12 who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These students must meet very stringent national criteria in scholarship, in addition to, completing an application detailing their accomplishments in and commitment to service, leadership, and character. Becoming a member of the prestigious National Honor Society not only acknowledges the caliber of the student, but presents opportunities to students such as additional post-secondary scholarships, national recognition before college entrance committees, and additional leadership development experiences.
Maranatha Christian Academy (Brooklyn Park, MN) has been a member of NHS for over 30 years and, per capita, has one of the highest student memberships in the state.
