How do we participate in the 2019 Scholastic Summer Reading challenge?

The Summer Reading Challenge officially kicks off on May 6, so parents and students need to follow the instructions in their student’s yellow summer reading folder to register. Current 4th and 5th grade students will register in their library classes.

Suggestion: Keep the reading log sheet in the book you are reading. Use the log to help keep track of minutes read each week. Then enter your minutes online once a week. Enter all your minutes by September 6, 2019!

The top school from each of the 50 states will be featured in the 2020 Scholastic Book of World Records.

Maranatha’s 2019 summer reading goal is to read over 520,000 minutes in pre-k through 8th grade!
