The first Breakfast with Brian will be held on Wednesday, September 25 in the Coffee House. Please make note of the new start time of 8:15 a.m.
If you are new to Maranatha, you may be wondering; Who is Brian and why do I want to have breakfast with him? Great question!
Breakfast with Brian (BWB) is a unique opportunity for our parents, grandparents, and friends of the Academy to gather together one morning with the Head of School, Brian Sullivan. During your time together you will hear the latest information and updates about Maranatha. In addition, every BWB will have a special guest speaker that will offer special insight to a variety of topics including, parenting, mental health, relationships, and more.
As an added bonus, every guest will be treated to a free cup of coffee and a breakfast item from The Coffee House!
You will not want to miss out on this special time together.
Since when has the way things have always been done a good enough reason to keep doing them? At Maranatha Christian Academy, we’re not afraid of standing for something different—and, well, maybe that’s exactly what makes all the difference. Here, excellence is measured not only by the obligatory test scores and sky-high academic standards, but by the unquantifiable. Curiosity. Perseverance. Faith. We’ve built a place where our students can learn from themselves, each other and all of us, a place where failure is embraced and big questions serve as a golden opportunity for teachers to show wide-eyed minds where to look, but not what to see. If this sounds like a distinctly fresh, particularly intentional approach that’s not at all what you thought about school, then we’ve reached our passing grade. Because that’s precisely the whole point.
We invite you to learn more about Maranatha Christian Academy and its innovative approach to education at our Meet Maranatha event on Wedensday, September 25 at 9:30 a.m. You will be invited to have a cup of coffee with our Head of School followed by a tour of the school by our Principals. This is a wonderful way to see the Academy in action and learn if the school is a good fit for your student.
College Information Night will be held on September 23 at 6 p.m. in the theater. This is an important event for students in Grades 9-12 and their parents. The evening will include a speaker who will be covering the NCAA process and an admissions representative from Bethel University to review important information regarding the college admission process as a whole.
