On Thursday, April 16, Maranatha will host its Annual Gala. You are invited to go Back to the 80’s to “Celebrate Good Times, Come On!” As we all think back to the era that brought us so many great things from the mullet to ratted hair; from leg warmers to parachute pants, from cassette tapes to C.D.’s, it would have been hard to imagine a more innovative decade would ever come.
As funny as that may sound, one can argue education hasn’t moved forward enough since then. At Maranatha, we are committed to changing education and equipping a generation of courageous change makers, empathetic problem solvers, impactful innovators, curious explorers, gracious community builders, and spirit-driven leaders. Your voyage Back to the 80’s will support our innovative school.
The Back to the 80’s Gala will feature a social hour with a groovy atmosphere, a silent auction, and hors d’oeuvres. A delicious dinner will be served and a program detailing some exciting plans for Maranatha. Of course, there will be plenty of fun and games throughout the evening – heck, we are celebrating the 80’s, right?
Please clear your calendar and join us at this year’s Gala. You can purchase tickets by clicking here. Please feel free to invite friends to join you or consider sponsoring a table.
