What is Meals for Minneapolis?

Meals for Minneapolis started nine years ago. Since then, students, staff, and volunteers have packed over 225,000 meals that were delivered to local food shelves. In addition, Maranatha families have connected with family and friends to help raise over $600,000 to help further the school's mission of developing co-creators of tomorrow, grounded in Christian faith.

At Maranatha, we pride ourselves on being innovative with a Christ-focused mission. Meals for Minneapolis is our way of involving friends and family of MCA in an amazing outreach and fundraiser for the school. The need for this outreach is more relevant today than ever before, and with the help of our students and volunteers, Maranatha has set a goal to pack 50,000 meals for Twin Cities' food shelves. In addition, we will raise funds to provide resources for our students and further our mission of excellent Christian education.

This event is the only school-wide fundraiser of the year and is not only efficient for families, but also gives students a great chance to work together and show the love of God to others.

Meals for Minneapolis 2020 was a tremendous success. With food shelves experiencing a 65% increase in demand, the meals packed by MCA students and volunteers were more important and impactful than ever before.
